Sony To Release Video Version of Vaio Pocket Device

When Sony announced their version of the “iPod Killer” I thought for sure it would include video and be marketed as a media player. Well, today Sony announced that they will offer a video version which can play video and beam it to a TV. Imagine recording ‘The Daily Show’, then being able to take it with you or watch it on a normal sized screen at a friends house or hotel room. No word yet on pricing, but I would expect this device to be around $500. [via REUTERS]
