TV on Your Wrist

This is all we need, now we can sit on our asses and watch TV pretty much anywhere, anytime. However, I don’t know how useful or desirable it is with the lack of a built-in TiVo. NHJ USA announced the launch of the V@mp ‘VTV-101’, a wearable TV Watch. This tiny portable TV which weighs only 55g uses innovative technology including a sharp TFT LCD display screen (280×220 pixels), built-in Sony TV tuner, and stereo earphones which function as the TV’s antenna. Don’t except to get MTV on the road, the TV tuner can only receive channels VHF 1-12 and UHF 13-62. The ‘VTV-101′ features a Li-Ion rechargeable battery so that it can be kept powered up easily, and also comes with a docking bay charger which can be used without removing the batteries from the case giving you about 2.5-3 hours of pure watching enjoyment. The V@mp ‘VTV-101′ TV watch will be available first from the catalogue house Hammacher Schlemmer from the middle of May, and is expected to retail for around $199.99.
