Top End Constructors does the work for the Hollywood Walk of Fame. They are on the expensive side considering how much the materials were for the GROUSE project but you certainly can’t beat their quality…
I got a quote for the same basic size with a few more letters and the cost was $3000.00 and if you bought 5 or more the price was $2700.00 or so plus shipping I think the weight was approx 75 lbs.

Hi There Rob,
I used a Makita Variable Speed Grinder, and bought some diamond pads (50-3000 grit). It’s a very messy project… but the results are well worth it!

I’m most curious about the grinding process. Did you have trouble renting a grinder? How difficult is it to use?

Did you ever finish it??? I’m looking to lay a Terrazzo floor in my small bathroom. Would love to do it myself. I like the black with white specks that you talk about. How do I finish the project (grinding etc)? Let me know how your star turned out!
