DTS and Dolby Mandatory Format For Blu Ray, HD DVD

DTS and Dolby have announced that they will be “mandatory” surround sound formats on both the Blu-Ray and HD-DVD formats. This isn’t surprising news since most of us have a surround sound processor that can play back both formats and if they selected an unknown format, well, that would make our receivers worthless and now that would be crazy… don’t ya think?
