Fingerprint Access Hard Drive

<% rating=5 %>

Now this is COOL! A portable hard drive that has a built-in, fingertip-size Active Imaging Sensor on the top outer panel, which LockBox claims is the most accurate fingerprint authentication available today.

The LockBox has storage capacity of up to 200GB and can function as a single hard drive or be partitioned into a maximum of seven logical private drives. It allows enrollment by as many as eight authorized users, each with their own fingerprint access. It weighs about 1lb., 13 oz and is smaller than a VCR tape and will set you back about $250… the coolness factor is well worth it!!

UPDATE: I wonder if you can just yank the hard drive out and access the data directly… I might need to get one of these to try this.
