I'm glad I moved off the Island before this happened. There was a study done that showed significant increases in conception during natural disasters and extended periods of power outages. Yesterday took our dog to Marymoor park, and on the way back, we got off 520 to get some lunch, only to realize that the power was out all around us. We got back on 520 and it seemed like the power was out most of the rest of the way through Bellevue. I kind of felt like I was fleeing a rapidly declining civilization.
