It is a really good model of a bugaboo. I have the model one year earlier than this model issued. I think it is the best thing to transport your baby

Congrats on the little one. Kids are awesome, and even better when they show an interest in gadgets. My Daughter loves my harmony remotes. She can't get enough of them ;)

Congratulations! Now is an exciting time for you. Also a time of many unknowns, which is why I wanted to tell you that I agree with Steve and I think you will find he is right. We welcomed our son in July and are incredibly relieved to have made a practical choice and bought a lightweight, easy-to-use and cheaper stroller/infant car seat combo. So many of our friends have these trendy strollers that they spent so much money on, and so many of them complain about how heavy they are and how much room they take up, and having to move the baby, etc. You should know Danny that moving the baby in and out of the car seat is something that you may want to minimize. There will be plenty of time when the baby is home (ie out of the carseat) to move around and stretch, etc. Just my opinion and something to think about. But its really all about what works best for the watermelon/peanut, right? Best of luck!

Hi,
I've tried reaching you but I haven't received a reply. I work with a client who would like some exposure on your site. Preferably in connection to when you do a review/post about a product.
My client works with tech gadget reviews and they would blend in great with your site. If you are interested I can explain a bit further about what I have in mind.
If you're not interested please tell me so I can remove your site from my sheets.
Regards,
Will

Steve,
I guess I'm still in the romantic stages... and don't understand all the complexities and annoyances a stroller will bring. So far, with a watermelon, the Bugaboo seems perfect. We'll see what happens one the peanut arrives.
Also, I kind of like the idea of having to remove our kid from the stroller to the car seat... gets them moving and out of the same position. I don't mind the extra process -- again, that might change.
Thanks for your comments!

We thought about a Bugaboo a couple of years ago and then decided against it. So glad we did. The word you need to learn is "convenience." Sure it looks cool, but you can't just pull the car seat out of its base and clip it into the stroller. You have to take the kid out and put them into the Bugaboo. Then reverse the process when you get back to the car. Major PITA. Also 20lbs is super heavy. Baby Joggers weigh that much. Our stroller weighed 10-12lbs and was compatible with the car seat. It opened with one hand and folded into thirds for convenient storage. I could get the kid back into the car and store the stroller in less than 10 seconds. I would be backing up while you're still extracting the kid from the Bugaboo. Plus, it cost a fraction of the Bugaboo. Check out the Combi systems. Knowing what I know now, I would buy our Combi over a free Bugaboo. Don't get me wrong. The Bugaboo is cool looking and I'm sure it's built well. But since having kids I'm all about function over form.
If you're looking for cool gear, check out the Baby Jogger Switchback -- that's what $600 is supposed to get you.
