Difference between TED 1000 and TED 5000 is pretty huge.  The TED 5000 is the way to go.  Just get the gateway (without the display).  Then you can use the built-in flash footprints interface (not the greatest looking interface, but works) and even link it up to Google PowerMeter.    I haven&#039;t tried the iPhone app that was created by a third party as I use www.myrocontrol.com for my iPhone viewing ;)]]></description>
