Hey David,

Difference between TED 1000 and TED 5000 is pretty huge. The TED 5000 is the way to go. Just get the gateway (without the display). Then you can use the built-in flash footprints interface (not the greatest looking interface, but works) and even link it up to Google PowerMeter. I haven’t tried the iPhone app that was created by a third party as I use http://www.myrocontrol.com for my iPhone viewing

Hey Danny,

Really looking forward to your video review of the TED 5000. When is that coming? Also, what is the major difference between the 1000 and the 5000? Is there an iPhone app for it? Seems if there was an app I wouldn’t need the external display. Just view it off the internet on the app.
