TV T-SHIRT!?

Related Entries: Electronics
I still think this is a joke, but who knows anymore… Lost Remote posted about how this TV Shirt Company suggested that their product can be used by a weatherman doing a report with a weather map on his chest. Now when I tried to investigate this further (by visiting the company website), I noticed that there really isn’t many details about the technology. If it’s real… this is a very cool marketing idea and we should be seeing more around July 4th (as stated in the full story). If anyone sees this technology in person, please take a photo and email it to me.

The picture of the girl with the video screen is a walking billboard. The screen isn’t ironed onto the T Shirt. But I have seen a site one time that I can’t find again that advertised real TV T Shirts. They have a FLEXABLE washable screen according to the article. Go to www.projectorpeople.com and look for “OLED” (Organic Light Emitting Diode). It’s a thin film flexable plastic display panel. Probibly what they used for the shirts. As far as electronic circuits to drive the display and batteries are concerned, a flat lythium polimer battery could power it and I’m sure the electronics could be layed out on a flexible sheet also.

I build this that look likes this…

But it is very expensive and my one can only play music, video, photo works on a accu and runs on internal memory or memory cards.

The TV-Shirts does really excist but aren’t for sell for nomal people I guess.
