Wireless 19” Digital Picture Frame
PhotoVu announced the PV1900 today, it’s the industry’s first 19” wireless digital picture frame. The frames can be customized so they can blend easily into almost any home or office environment and it requires no monthly subscription, additional image manipulation or software installation. You can display thousands of digital photos or other digital content stored on any computer that has a network connection and is running Windows, Macintosh, Linux, or a UNIX based operating system. It’s easy as just plugging in the PV1900 within range of your wireless network and turn it on. All features and operations are controlled remotely from any computer’s web browser on the network. The PV1900, and upgraded picture frame selection, are now available through the PhotoVu website. It retails for $1549. I like the idea of digital picture frames but since it costs so much money, I’d rather have a touch screen that looks like a picture frame and when not in use, it displays photos. That’s what I’m going to be doing with my DIY: Inwall 15” LCD touchscreen :: Part 1 (The Parts) Project. I just need to find time to start it…

We have one in our office…it looks great but did take some hair pulling to get it set up. Once we did though it pulls from Flickr via via RSS - great concept - needs easier set-up and photo management to get over the hump. We did post some tips and tricks to help at:
