New LCD Monitors From NEC

You can’t really compare these to the new aluminum displays Apple released couple weeks ago, but if you’re looking for economical displays that aren’t black or beige then these might be something you’d be interested in. NEC has announced a new line of thin-frame LCD displays with a two-tone silver cabinet design. The new monitors feature digital and analog connectivity, integrated sound bars (speakers), resolution of 1280 x 1024 and contrast ratios of 450:1 for the 17-inch model and 450:1 for the 19-inch model with response rates of 16ms or less, so they can be used to deliver fluid, full-motion images. I should mention that they will be affordably priced at $499.99 (Estimated Street Price) for the 17-inch NEC MultiSync LCD1735NXM and $699.99 (ESP) for the 19-inch NEC MultiSync LCD1935NXM. Oh, and they should be shipping any day now…
