Expect Lower Priced Plasma Displays
People ask me all the time, “Danny, is it time to buy a plasma display?”. My answer always is, if you need a big and thin display and front projection is out of the picture, then yes. Otherwise, wait until the prices drop. Once they hit $2000, then I will start hanging them on all my walls. Well, today the NPD Consumer Electronics Price Watch released a report that average U.S. prices for plasma televisions fell 3% in May and that by the third quarter we should start seeing entry level price points of $1,999.
