World’s Smallest 7.2 Megapixel Camera

Related Entries: Electronics

Well, I just found my next camera! I’ve been really happy with my Sony DSC-85 and I think it’s now time to move on to a smaller camera… and the winner is Sony’s new Cyber-shot DSC-P150. It takes a 7.2 mega pixel (3072 x 2304 resolution) image, is only 1” thin and sports a Carl Zeiss Vario Tessar 3X optical zoom lens… making this purchase a no brainer. Oh, and I should mention the InfoLithium battery it comes with should power it for about 310 shots and the P150 has also been empowered with Sony’s own recently introduced Real Imaging Processor circuitry that ensures fast start-up and shot-to-shot times, and puts extra speed and performance behind automatic features such as auto focus and auto exposure. That means I should never miss that shot because the camera is always ready! Another compelling reason to get this camera is that you can also get a marine pack so you won’t have to worry about getting it wet, and you can take it under water. Good stuff. I’ll post a review when I get in some time in September for less than $500.
