Axion 10.2” LCD TV/DVD Combo

Related Entries: Electronics

Just in time for the Holidays… Axion is now shipping a 10.2” wide-screen LCD TV and DVD player combo which will be sold exclusively at RadioShack. The price of $399.99 (MSRP) makes worth talking about, since this price point has traditionally been reserved for LCD only displays. This little display would be a nice unit to place in a utility room, garage, and even the car.

The Axion LCD TV/DVD combo features a high-resolution 10.2-inch wide screen LCD display and plays DVDs under virtually any lighting conditions. The built-in DVD player features support for DVD, CD, MP3 and Photo CD viewing. The Axion comes complete with remote control, travel case, auto/home power supplies, F-type antenna connectors and is cable ready off the shelf. The travel/mounting case can be hung from the rear of a car seat - making it ideal for families with children who require on-the-road entertainment. Dual stereo speakers and headphone jacks make it perfect for just about any viewing situation.

It’s not on Radioshacks website yet, but should be any day now…

We bought this TV /DVD player last x-mas we didn’t have it very long and I plugged it into an outlet and the plug part popped and never worked again. We have to use the lighter adapter. We’ve gone to Radio Shack about it and they don’t carry the plug.
What Now ?

Would you please e-mail me a manual for the Axion 10” LCD/DVD Combo please? I bought this unit at Radio Shack and it was the only one they had, this one was on display, so it did not have a manual.

Thanks,

RC

I have this dvd player and we loved it but, out of blue the disc player just quit working. everytime we put a disc it the drive it will start spinning and loading then unknown disk will appear on the screen and nothing else can be done. I have had this a little over a year and radio shack where we purchased it stated they no longer carry or supply service for these.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
thank you,
gina

We bought ours before Christmas, and have had nothing but problems. DVDs skip and then the audio is off track from the video. This is the third one we traded for, and it skips also

I purchase one of these units from Radio Shack over a year ago. I’ve generally enjoyed it. Recently the LCD became defective. Everything works but I can’t see a picture. Anyone out there got one that does give a picture but otherwise does not waork that they would like to get rid of? Maybe I can make a good one out of two bad ones. Please send your reply to me at mallory@byu.edu

HI I need an address for this Axion 3.5 DVD I bought and played for only about 4 months and stopped giving a picture on it. Where do I send it to see if it’s worth getting repaired.
Susan
