This is a great Christmas gift for a kid or even an adult! The Thames & Kosmos Vintage Radio Kit not only looks good, it’s a real fully functional vacuum tube radio, like the ones from the 1930’s. Don’t think you or your kin can put the kit together? Don’t you fret, the radio comes pre-wired so all you need to do is plug in a few components, attach an antenna, a ground wire, and then you can begin tuning in Tokyo. The wooden base is finished with a polished cherry stain and golden labels for that old 1930’s authentic look. The vacuum tube glows with a soft orange glow when you are using it… then all you need is a Nixie clock next to it…
