STÅLRØR - Architectual A/V Rack

Related Entries: Home Theater
stalror.jpgNow that I have a welding system and metal working tools, I want to start making furniture and lighting, like STÅLRØR — I don’t think Choppers are my thing anyway. STÅLRØR designs contemporary furniture, lighting, architectual metalwork and sculptures and by looking at their gallery, they are worth every penny for their unique and fresh designs. For example, in 1997 they designed and built a minimal, yet functional, A/V equipment cabinet which is made out of stainless steel and blackend cold finished steel. The little holes act as a ventilation and finger grips give you access to your equipment. Like all custom one-of-a-kind things, this A/V rack isn’t cheap, be prepared to drop about $5k for something like this. For more information or to commission work, contact STÅLRØR directly.
