RedRadio - RAD-I/O, The Real Video Switch
There’s something about touch screens that fascinate me. Is it a sickness? Well, I don’t care… how can you not think the RedRadio RAD-I/O is one of the coolest touch screen devices out there? This is the only touch screen I’ve seen that fits inside a single-gang box and was designed to be used as in-wall switches. The RAD-I/O features a 2.7” LCD touch screen display and is powered by a PCI video card that splits a standard VGA desktop into 8 1/8 VGA quadrants. So anything you can display on the desktop is displayed on the LCD screen. Best of all? Each little display retails for $245, and up to eight can be feed from the $345 PCI controller.

Bill, have you seen the prices of other touch panels? You rarely find anything under $1000. So $245 for a color touchscreen is great! I would like them in the sub-$100 range, but we’re not there yet.
