Adobe Flash Lite 2.1 for WM5 — Works Great For Remote Home Automation Control!

I’ve been busy finishing up my custom home automation server complete with a secure remote interface for my HTC Wizard (WM5 PocketPC) cellphone. When I heard that Adobe released Flash Lite 2.1 for WM5 I wanted to test out my early prototype interface in the new Flash Lite player. To my amazement, the interface I wrote works pretty much as expected. Good job Adobe! When I get closer to wiring up all the virtual buttons in the UI, I will post another entry about how that process went. I really want to tap into all the device specific controls, like vibrate. I’d like to use that for tactile feedback when I enter my security code.

Just wondering how the progress is coming along. I just recieved the latest version of Active Home Pro and lets just say I’m less than satisfied with it. X10.com gave me the impression that I would be able to run it from any internet browser. Today I couldn’t even get it to work on IE7. X10 customer service claims “server problems” and it should be up in a couple days. Anyhow, I would love to get my hands on a copy of the flash version to run on my Wizard!! Do you have any plans on releasing it when it’s complete?
I am so amazed to use your program .
