Early Adopter From A Young Age.

I was going through a bunch of old boxes my parents brought over. Besides the old Transformers and Starwars toys, some of the boxes contained papers of all the electronics I wanted or owned. This box is full of memories… it contains electronic and car magazines from 1988. I’ll probably post a few of these relics someday, much like we are enjoying the Science & Mechanics from the sixties.

For now, enjoy this certificate from TDK recognizing that I’m “On the Leading Edge Of Audio Technology”. I think I actually was the first and only person to support and own MiniDiscs back in 1993. I still have a Sony MZ1 and a ton of MDs.

Sweet! I still have my minidisc. I’m hoping one day to have the time to connect it to my PC and burn all my music of to MP3. Ill probably never do it….

That’s the way CDs should have been made. My MinIDiscs are as playable now as they were when i bought them, not a scratch!

Good ol’ MD! I’m still a user. I have more than a 100 MDs but fellow users are a rarity these days. The latest MZ-RH1 does let you upload your old tracks if you want to burn them to CD.

I need to buy a cheapo home deck to playback my 30 or so discs. I did love the editing features of MD. It was perfect for the car as a format. I just wish pricing would have been better.
