CEPRO.com has posted an article about how the tech support industry will grow to over $2 billion by 2013. This makes sense as more and more people start to use technologies that tend to be more complicated than that of the past.  An example, with the newly announced HULU and ABC deal, people no longer just turn on a TV and tune to a two or three digit channel number, but, require software, computer and network knowledge to figure out how to watch shows.

We had our Company Christmas Party over the weekend and when I got in today there was a CD of photos waiting at my desk. I thought it was going to contain compromising/incriminating photographs of co-workers from the party, but instead it contained some pretty great shots of Miss Emmy.

Technical specification of the Emmy (as I see them):

• Heavy. She really looks light and slim, but she has a very solid/heavy frame.
• Gold. There is no way she is solid gold, but polished gold plating.
• Impressive. Holding such a statue really makes you feel like “Thanking God and the Academy”.

Once that all wears off, you quickly realize you’re not any more special than you were before.
