swing trainerOne of the problems with golf video games is the input mechanizing, the half-circle power meter that you need to click on a couple times to set the power just doesn’t do it for me. That just changed… Qmotions announced today that their QMotions-Golf for windows is now available. QMotions-Golf is a state-of-the-art highly accurate Indoor Golf Simulation System which can be used at home, in the office, or just about anywhere. QMotions-Golf comes with a specially designed swing arm to drive, chip or putt a tethered golf ball with a real golf club. The electronics measure the ball’s direction and speed characteristics and incorporate these measurements into compatible Windows golf games, thus getting rid of the traditional input method of using a mouse and keyboard. QMotions-Golf will cost $249 and that even includes EA SPORTS Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 2004. PC, golf clubs and tasty cold beverages are not included.
