Pepsi Natural & Mexican Coca-Cola (Coke)

Mexican Coke & Pepsi NaturalMexican Coke & Pepsi Natural

I don’t drink much cola these days, my beverage of choice for the last year has been straight tea — I drink about 4-5 cups of it a day.  However, when I do drink cola it has to meet some criteria.  The soda needs to be the kind without Highfructose corn syrup (HFCS) and in glass bottles.  To my delight, while picking up my supply of mangos from Costco, I saw that Pepsi has released new drink called, “Pepsi Natural“.  This all natural cola is made with sparkling water, sugar and kola nut extract!   I just popped open a bottle and it actually takes pretty, pretty, good!

Now, when guests come over to the Grouse, they can have their pickings of Mexican Coke, Pepsi Natural, Dry Soda, and SPellegrino all in glass bottles which are recycled after consumption — now if only we could get the bottles refilled!?

    • Well, I think the Pepsi Natural tastes like Pepsi. My wife says it tastes different. I like both. However, I do like the Mexican Coke after working in the garden on a hot sunny day. The greenish glass gets some condensation forming and you finish over half the bottle in one gulp. Haven't had that same experience with the Pepsi yet... I'll let you know after I drink a few more bottles.

  • 1. I have seen in one of the blogs someone mentioned Mtn Dew Natural.

    2. Was there any particular reason to turn off full RSS? Majority of people (including me) unsubscribe from feeds, that no longer provide full articles...

  • I understand the motivation, but in reality this move has the opposite effect, as proven by many other blogs. People are lazy and they would rather stop reading your posts, because it became inconvenient. Only dedicated and loyal ones will stay... :)

    • Which is fine with me... you guys are the ones I really care about anyways :D
