Buy a Pirated CD. Go Directly To Jail.

When I went to Greece a couple years ago, I was surprised on how open pirated CD selling was. Heck, I could buy a newly released CD with cover art from a guy coming right up to me on the beach. Back then they were still on the Drachma, which converted into about $4 a disc… the same price as today with the Euro. The BBC has posted a story about how “millions of holidaymakers going to Greece this summer have been warned they could be jailed for buying pirated CDs after a buyer was imprisoned”. Buyer Beware!
