TERK is best known for their outdoor line of HDTV antennas and those would be the first ones I’d recommend to my friends. I just found out that TERK has added their first indoor HDTV antenna to their great lineup. The HDTVi is very compact and easy to install, great for condo owners, apartment dwellers or anyone else that doesn’t have access to their roof. To top it all of, it’s actually a cool looking antenna, doesn’t look cheap… but the price is, $40 and you can own your very own.

I made an antenna similar to the HDTVi antenna by Terk for almost nothing: a $3.00 uhf/vhf amp that I got at a swapmeet and telescoping rabbit ears also from a swapmeet for $2.00; I had to make the UHF elements from 2 metal 15 inch by 10 inch thin metal disposable pans. Result; 90% signal on all available channels and I saved $75.50! E-mail me at tomp1253@msn.com, tompsheridant1@aol.com and tomsheridan@netscape.com if you want a picture of the antenna I made for all of $5.00
