An advanced technology vehicle company ZAP is auctioning off one of the first SMART cars available in the United States on eBay. The auction has been running for less than 24 hours and has received 40 bids and is currently at $13,100.00 (at time of publishing). In May, ZAP signed a $10 Million purchase agreement with SMART-Automobile LLC to be the exclusive distributor and licensed manufacturer in the United States for the 60-MPG SMART Car. In about a week, ZAP says that over 700 people have visited its website at http://www.zapworld.com to pick their favorite colors and put their name on a waiting list for sales information. I like the look of a Mini Cooper better, but you can’t go wrong with 60MPG!
